Lillie Aguero & Associates

Lillie Aguero & Associates is our community’s premier multi-services company providing tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, sales tax reporting, and other services.  Our firm has been in business since May of 2000 when it was first opened by its founder, Lillie Aguero, and her daughter, Kim Walker.  Since its inception, the knowledge and professionalism of the staff at Lillie Aguero & Associates is recognized and appreciated by its clients resulting in their return year after year and frequent referrals of others to our firm.

Bonner Tax Service

Bonner Tax Service is a reputable tax preparation and bookkeeping firm located in the Central Texas area.  Founded in 1965 by Pat Bonner, Bonner Tax Services focuses on delivering outstanding services while maintaining a small and intimate firm.  Since 2014, Pat’s daughters, Jenifer and Mitzie, have both continued in what has become a tradition of providing excellent services.  It is these qualities which has helped this firm develop a loyal client-base which spans generations.

Today's Lillie Aguero & Associates

For the better part of two decades the two firms were neighbors in the same shopping plaza, often referring clientele to each other depending on the needs of the client.  This professional courtesy eventually led to the two daughters, Kim and Jenifer, proposing a merger in order to better serve their current clients and potential clients.  On June 24, 2019, Bonner Tax Service and Lillie Aguero & Associates merged combining their collective tax preparation and bookkeeping knowledge into one firm: Lillie Aguero & Associates.  The merger of these two family owned firms has created an environment of high quality work, ethical standards, and trust which we hope can better drive our clients to success.

Were you aware that the IRS has guidelines for the length of time that you must keep records?  Did you know that those periods change depending on what those records document?  Depending on the type of action the document records, you may be required to keep documents for a period of 3 to 7 years.  More importantly, you may have to recall these records should the IRS need to confirm an expense or verify an action.

At Lillie Aguero & Associates we meticulously store all client documents using various methods and technologies and is performed according to IRS guidelines and regulations.  We incorporate both physical and electronic storage of supporting documents should the IRS ever need to verify an action.  All documents are stored for a minimum of 7 years, regardless of the type of event the document records.
